Executive Board Officers

Nominations are open for the following offices in the Union:

Secretary-Treasurer Vice President, PG&E Unit Vice President, and Government, Administrative, & Technical Unit Vice President

NOMINATION PROCESS

1. Nominations may be submitted by a form signed by no less than ten (10) members in good standing. Nominees for the Unit Vice President positions must be members of that unit and members nominating a Unit Vice President must be a member of said unit.

2. Nomination forms are available below or can be requested by emailing esc@nullifpte20.org.

3. Completed nomination forms can be submitted in any of the following ways:

  1. Deliver signed nomination forms to the Union Hall at 810 Clay Street in Oakland. The Union Hall is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
  2. Mail signed nomination forms to the Union Hall at 810 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94607.
  3. Email a scanned or photographed copy of the completed nomination form to the union at esc@nullifpte20.org with the subject line “Nomination Form for [insert name of office]”.
  4. The candidate may obtain a nomination via email by having the member in good standing email the candidate describing their intent to nominate. (i.e. I [member’s name] nominate [candidate’s name] for the position of [insert name of position.]

4. Completed nomination forms must be received by the Union Hall no later than 5pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

5. The Union Hall will verify the membership status of people who provided nomination signatures for each candidate. If a minimum number of ten (10) valid signatures are submitted by the deadline, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, by 5:00 pm, the nomination will be valid.

6. If an election is called for, ballots will be mailed no later than Thursday, October 31, 2024. All ESC Local 20 members in good standing may vote on candidates for all offices. Ballots must be received on or before 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The ballots shall be opened and counted by an Election Committee following the close of balloting under the supervision of a neutral arbitrator.
