Did you know? The Kaiser Permanente National Agreement expires in 2023. That means we will start bargaining for our NEW National Agreement in the next few months! We will need everyone’s help to make sure we win the fair and rewarding contract we deserve.
There are a lot of ways to get involved in the coming year, and one of the most important ways is to join the Member Action Committee (MAC).
What is MAC?
MAC is a member-driven committee designed to ensure that all ESC-represented workers at Kaiser are fully informed about the process and progress of bargaining and that workers’ top priorities are represented at the bargaining table. MAC members support the stewards and bargaining team members by:
- Attending MAC meetings
- Talking to groups of 10-20 coworkers about bargaining
- Showing up to and rallying coworkers for info sessions and other action-oriented activities as needed to help us all win the fair contract we deserve
Is MAC for me?
If you think MAC might be the right way to get involved in contract negotiations, attend our first meeting/training on Thursday, June 23rd, from 9 am – 3:30 pm. RSVP below to let us know you’ll be there! This will be a virtual meeting and all who RSVP will receive the link before the 23rd.
