ESC Local 20 represents a wide variety of licensed professional healthcare workers at both public and private employers throughout Northern California. Clinical Laboratory Scientists represent the largest classification represented by ESC Local 20 but we also represent Radiologic Technologists, Registered Nurses, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselors and Physical Therapists.
These disparate groups of professionals are brought together as the Medical Professionals Unit. Medical Professional Board Election
In accordance with the Medical Professional Unit constitution of ESC, the following positions on the Medical Professional Unit Board are open for election:
Vice-President, Treasurer
District Representatives 2, 4 and 6.
District 2 (San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara);
District 4 (Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Solano);
District 6* (San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Fresno, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Alameda, Contra Costa).
*Candidates for District 6 may not be employed by the same employer as other incumbent Board Directors representing the same counties. Further, representatives of District 6 must be employed in clearly distinct job classifications.
Nominations, utilizing the attached form with the signatures of not less than ten (10) members in good standing, should be submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer c/o the ESC office. The nominations should be received no later than March 15, 2012.
