The Government, Administrative, and Technical Unit is the governing body of ESC-represented professionals at the Environmental Protection Agency Region 9 as well as legal nonprofits including ACLU of Northern California, Centro Legal de la Raza, Disability Rights Advocates, East Bay Community Law Center, Federal Defenders of San Diego, Homeless Action Center, Legal Aid at Work, Legal Services for Children, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. All officers are democratically elected to two-year terms to uphold the Unit’s bylaws.
