In the Spring of 2016 Clinical Lab Scientist members of the Bargaining Team and the Union won a competitive wage scale with step increases that ensure that members’ wages rise with their years of service. This new wage scale system comes after years of an open range system that could allow members’ wages to stagnate despite a growing level of experience and dedication. With the new wage scale system, members know they will eventually reach the top of the wage scale and exactly how long it will take to get there, providing enhanced financial security.
