Casey Gagnon, a Gas Distribution Engineer based in our Sacramento office, passed away on October 22nd. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
The Company and Union have agreed to the attached Letter of Agreement 18-23-ESC which will allow employees to voluntarily sell vacation and transfer the proceeds to benefit the family of Casey. If you would like to donate vacation days to help Casey’s family, please contact Diana Hayden.
A GoFundMe campaign has also been to provide some financial help in these difficult times.
Casey was 31 years old and is survived by his wife and parents. He graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in civil engineering and started with PG&E in 2012 as a Mapping Technician. During his tenure at the company he also spent 2 years as a Field Engineer, and for the last 2 years was a Gas Distribution Engineer. What stood out to me about Casey are two things; that he was a solid engineer and was someone you could always count on, and secondly that he had a real passion about being on the Grass Roots Safety team and what it stood for.
He’s going to be sorely missed by those that knew him.
