PG&E LOAs and Other Documents

Below are Letters of Agreements (LOAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs – which are essentially the same as LOAs), and Review Committee decisions (RCs) from the current and previous contract cycles.  For other documents and historical research, consult the ESC PG&E steward database or contact your Union Rep.

  • LOA 20-10 NBR Fielding Duties

    Defines what job types can be field checked by NBRs and defines “single location” – NBR can only field check a single location.

  • LOA 20-08 DCPP Sequestration

    Conditions for DCPP Employees to be sequestered on plant site for ~30 days, including 2x pay 24 hours a day. Volunteers selected from 5 Nuclear Planners and 10 Nuclear Engineers with appropriate qualifications.

  • LOA 20-09 New Fresno HQ

    New building at 7 River Park Place East, Fresno will be considered the same HQ as 8 River Park Place East for 18 months. Also relocates Transmission Design Team from Clovis to the new building.

  • LOA 20-07 10% Premium Pay During COVID-19 Period

    This Letter of Agreement replaces the previous LOAs (20-05 and 20-06) on double-time. Instead of double-time during overtime hours, this LOA provides for 10% premium pay for all hours (including regular hours) spent working at a PG&E office or in the field. This applies to both hourly-paid and monthly-paid employees.

  • LOA 20-06 OT for Monthly Employees During COVID-19

    Clarifies 20-05; monthly employees get 1.5x for OT hours in field/office.

  • LOA 20-01 NBR Bid restriction, Fielding, and Staffing

    Implements a 2-year “lock-in” period for externally hired NBR’s and SNBR’s; Restricts NBR’s Fielding for those “locked-in” employees; Adds ADE’s to “Job Owner” offices on regular (not temporary) status; Opens a new San Carlos Design Center, with both ADE’s and Estimator.

  • LOA 19-21 IT Project Managers

    IT Project Managers added to ESC contract with salary ranges, some unique features including Principal PM, complexity matrix for upgrades, complex work jurisdiction.

  • MOU 2020-B Postpone Promotional Exams

    Promotional Exams (ADE, Lead/Prin/Exp Mapper, etc) postponed due to Coronavirus; those who pass will get back pay to April 1; no late enrollments.

  • MOU 2020-A Waive AutoCAD requirement for transitional hires

    These employees were offered jobs prior to the requirement being effective but did not report until after; we agreed to waive the requirement since they were not told at time they were offered the job.

  • LOA 20-05 Overtime During COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place

    This LOA provides for double-time for all OT worked at the office or at field sites (not while working at home) for the next 30 days.
