Dignity Woodland ratified their successor contract in July 2016 and now ESC Local 20 stewards and members are hard at work  implementing the new contract improvements, including:

  • Steward Release Time: Eight hours of release time, twice a year for up to 5 Stewards is now available for participation in training and development activities. Stewards shall be compensated at straight time pay for attendance.
  • New Hire Orientation Access: ESC Local 20 will now receive a list of new employees and given time to meet with them to discuss the Union and the terms of the Agreement during New Hire Orientations.
  • Labor Management Committees: A process to review, discuss and resolve issues of mutual concern to the parties has been established. Such issues that could be addressed may include staffing and scheduling concerns that have been identified in many different departments.
