Due to the ongoing dispute and breakdown of negotiations between the Alliance of Health Care Unions and Kaiser Permanente management, Workforce Development Week has been postponed. The organizers of this event will let us know when it is rescheduled.

A strong union contract can mean good raises, affordable health care, and job security — but what else?

As a result of years of negotiations and partnership, the National Agreement between the Coalition and Kaiser Permanente includes other robust resources, like education trusts to assist union members in adapting to changes and preparing tomorrow’s workforce. You can take advantage of this educational benefit the week of October 19th-22nd during Workforce Development Week, a series of virtual events, webinars, and activities specially designed for all Kaiser Permanente employees to help build their skills and knowledge to prepare for the future of health care work. In addition to quick, pre-recorded sessions, there will be two live sessions, podcasts, and more! Additional information is included in the flyer below, or email national-wfpd@nullkp.org with other questions.

Coalition unions, including ESC, fought hard in 2019 to secure employer funding for these resources and Kaiser’s commitment to investing in employees, so don’t miss out!
