International Federation of Professional & Technical…is one of thirteen Federal Workers Alliance (FWA) Unions Suing the Trump Administration! The unions filed the lawsuit in the DC Federal circuit challenging the May 25th Trump Executive Orders, along with a reminder that the United States, “is a democracy, not a monarchy.”
IFPTE responds to an Executive Order that would limit and take away rights of federal employees around collective bargaining, union business, and a fair pay system.
“Given that fact, it is a reckless violation of our Constitution for President Trump, and indeed any President, to unilaterally write or alter federal law. Title 5, which is the law of the land when it comes to most federal civilian personnel matters, has been extensively litigated and is settled law.”
