ESC Local 20 is saddened to learn of the passing of brother Jim Hopkins, a retired Gas Associate Distribution Engineer with PG&E in Oakland and respected union leader at Local 20, on October 11th.
We are saddened to learn that longtime steward for PG&E, John Davidson, recently passed away. John was a strong and loyal supporter of ESC and a great friend. He will be deeply missed by all.

We were pleased to have such a high turnout at our Remote Work Negotiations Update Webinar on May 6th. While 500 ESC members attended our webinar discussing the status and outlook of Remote Work negotiations, we know many more who wanted the information could not. This recap covers the information presented during the webinar and is up to date as of May 12, 2021.
Results are coming in from the new Letter of Agreement 21-05, which created the category of “Provisional Senior Estimator.” The joint Union-Company Estimator Training and Testing Governance Committee has approved the new title and pay rate to 11 current Estimators, based on their qualifications.
