The storms of 2022/2023 have been some of the most intense we have experienced since 1995/1996. The work and dedication shown by ESC members can make us all proud.
In accordance with the PG&E Unit constitution of ESC Local 20, the following positions on the PG&E Unit Board are open for election:
Women’s Committee members met for their first annual in-person committee meeting. The event included guest speaker Gay Henson, our International Union Secretary-Treasurer, and real-life Rosie the Riveter!

John Mader (President), Connie Savoy (Medical Professional Unit Vice President), and Dr. Joan Mah (Optometry Unit Vice President) have been elected to the Executive Board by acclamation. Congratulations!
Our healthcare professionals at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital went on strike on September 26th, fighting for safe staffing levels to improve patient care. These workers have been without a contract for over a year. It’s time for Sutter to come to the table with a contract that healthcare heroes deserve!
We are pleased to announce that after months of negotiations, we have finally reached an agreement with management at Sonoma County regarding a permanent telework arrangement available to all county workers. All county employees now have the opportunity to request reasonable, permanent telework arrangements!
