Last week, Dietitians at Washington Hospital voted unanimously (9 yes, 0 no) to join ESC Local 20, IFPTE! This group is joining more than 130 other professionals at Washington Hospital, growing our union’s strength to continue to advocate for ourselves, our professions, and our patients. Earlier this month, we proposed a 5% per year increase for 3 years — on Thursday, management REJECTED our proposal and only offered 1% for 6 months, then 0.5% for the next 6 months, repeated for three years.
