We are Clinical Laboratory Scientists and Technicians and we are proud to work at Eden Medical Center, where we remain committed to providing award-winning care for our patients, but our contract expired 7 months ago and Sutter refuses to settle with us for the wages we deserve and without takeaways. The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers’ (IFPTE) executive officers applauded today’s Executive Order by President Biden establishing a White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment. “This latest news of the creation of a White House Task Force dedicated toward empowering working Americans seeking to organize unions and collectively bargain will ensure that this will continue to be a front and center issue for years to come.”

Earlier this month, we proposed a 5% per year increase for 3 years — on Thursday, management REJECTED our proposal and only offered 1% for 6 months, then 0.5% for the next 6 months, repeated for three years.
